Welcome

First Baptist Church (FBC) is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan, in the city of South Haven.

We are a family-oriented church dedicated to bringing a fresh relevant message to people everywhere; churched, non-churched, and un-churched.

Ever since April 22, 1866, when 31 individuals gathered together to pray and plan how they could establish a local church whose purpose would be to serve God and expand His kingdom here in South Haven, we have been committed to our forefathers' calling and vision.

Our Calling

Keeping it simple, the "Calling" of our Church is,  "To Know Him and Make Him Known."

Our Mission

To fulfill our "Calling," we are committed to carrying out our Mission: to Love God, Love One Another, and Touch the World.

Whether you are visiting us as a vacationer or someone who is looking for a church home, it is our desire that you enjoy our gathering time and that you sense God's presence.

We want you to come looking for a family.  In the process you will learn that what holds this family together is the love of Jesus Christ and why His love is important to finding a safe harbor among the storms of life.

Nurseries are provided during most scheduled events. All volunteers have had appropriate background checks.
