Living out our faith in our community is very important to us.  In addition to supporting organizations both locally and globally, we also host events of our own. A few of our annual ones are:

annual hot dog giveaway

For over 20 years, we have been giving away free hot dogs before the 4th of July fireworks in South Haven.  Our volunteers meet on the south side of Kids’ Corner Park where we grill, wrap and provide condiments for over 2000 hot dogs.  We give these hot dogs to whoever wants them – free, no strings attached.  It is a great way for us to connect with those in our community and remind them that Christ’s love and forgiveness is also a free gift available to them.

pumpkinfest

Our annual Pumpkinfest has been held for over 25 years.  On Halloween, we provide a safe, indoor environment for trick-or-treaters to come enjoy a variety of carnival style games, a bounce house, and other fun activities.  We provide free popcorn, cotton candy, coffee and water as well as candy prizes for every game.  We dare say that kids go home with more candy from Pumpkinfest than they get from trick-or-treating!

community support

We provide regular monetary support to We Care I.N.C which meets a variety of needs for those in our community who need assistance with food, clothing, baby supplies, heat assistance and more. 

In addition, we provide monthly support to Missionary Denise Hodge serving in Honduras and Pastor Jephthe Lucien serving in Haiti. We also provide regular support to True Vine Equestrian Center.
