Prayer Shawls

This ministry has several dedicated knitters and needle workers who hand create shawls for those having health or other difficulties. While making the shawl, the worker prays for the person in need. In addition, the faithful crafters continue to regularly pray for recipients of their shawls. Our shawls are begun, worked and finished with prayer, and each shawl is a symbol to the recipient that he or she is being covered in prayer.

Prayer Shawls are given to those who are ill, home-bound, or in need of encouragement.

Our ministry is also making preparations to send prayer shawls with Project Haiti 2017. If you would like to help craft some shawls, if you would like to join the team for prayer, or if you would like to make a financial contribution, contact Linda Newell at 269.906.0327.
