Kingdom
Bound Ministries focuses on children
5-years old through the 5th grade in
a number of different capacities.
On
Wednesday evenings (6:30-7:30 p.m.), our King’s
friends meet for QUEST, a time of
interactive faith, fellowship and
fun. Participants are led in praise
and worship by our "Sing Sign Step
Team" comprised of 4th-9th
graders.
Our
Children’s Worship currently takes
place during our second adult service, from
10:30 a.m. to
12:00 p.m.
Our focus is on worshipping Jesus in
a relevant, kid-friendly way.
Our purpose is "1-1-1," to do
"Whatever it takes to move ONE kid,
ONE step closer to the ONE true God.
To do so, we use our "3-D
Method," Discover—Develop—and Do.
We help our children discover their
gifts and talents, develop them
through opportunities, and then have
them do ministry by serving God and
others.
"Sing Sign Step Team" also uses
interpretive dance to worship and
lead others in worship outside of FBC. The SSS Team meets
for the
coming season are yet to be
determined. Watch the bulletin

"Kingdom Bound Ministries" reaches
out into the community through
events during the 4th of July
Celebrations and at the Harborfest
Celebration in June.
Our
Leader: K.B.M. is led by our
Director of Children's Ministries,
Mrs. Andrea Tait. Andrea has
been a member of First Baptist since
1990. She has the privilege to
work with many adult and kid leaders
who are devoted to leading kids to a
strong, true relationship with their
Savior Jesus Christ. |
